Our TRI-CAPTURE™ process is a convenient at-home foot shape acquisition method designed for creating bespoke custom-fitted shoes that combines three inputs:

1. Stepping into BIO-FOAM® foot molds for a weight-bearing plantar impression and outline
2. Taking six guided photos of each foot
3. Recording five precise girth measurements per foot

These elements are integrated to create a comprehensive 3D "blueprint" of each foot, allowing Bondeno to carve precise custom lasts for a superior fit.

The TRI-CAPTURE™ process employs precise triangulation, capturing your foot's unique geometry from multiple complementary angles and cross-referencing the data points to detect and correct any errors or inconsistencies, ensuring the final 3D model is accurate

If you wear insoles or custom prescription orthotics, our foot shape acquisition process also allows us to obtain their exact dimensions so that the proper amount of room is created when making your bespoke shoes or boots. Depending on how thick your insoles are, we are able to make the pattern of the shoe higher around your ankles, so that your feet won't slip out of the shoes once the insoles or orthotics are inserted.

OUR 10-STEP PROCESS IN DETAIL

1. Ordering On Our Website or By Phone

A bespoke shoe or boot order may be placed through our website by selecting a specific model from any of our collections. If you need assistance with placing an order, you may call us at 212-903-5650, email us, or schedule a video call.

2. TRI-CAPTURE™ KIT delivered to your doorstep

We offer 2-3 day delivery options at checkout to customers in the US and Canada. For customers living outside the US or Canada, deliveries take 4 to 7 business days through DHL Worldwide Express.

3. Foot Shape Acquisition Process (10 to 15 minutes)

Once you receive your TRI-CAPTURE™ KIT, you may follow our instructions manual included in the box. If you need help with any part of the process, you may book a Zoom video call here to obtain live guidance from our bespoke specialist. You may also call or email us.

If you do not feel like doing the foot shape acquisition process yourself, you may have someone you trust help you through the entire process. The average time needed to complete the process is 10 to 15 minutes.

4. Return of TRI-CAPTURE™ KIT with prepaid UPS return label

Once you have completed the foot shape acquisition process, you may use the insured and prepaid sticker return label included in the original box to ship your BIO-FOAM® foot molds back to us.

5. Toe box blueprint verification through email

Once we receive your BIO-FOAM® foot molds and your foot data, we will email you within 5 business days a blueprint of your shoe or boot lasts. The goal is to make sure that you are fully satisfied with how the toe box of your shoes or boots will look given your specific foot shape in terms of how round and pointy they are. You may request as many revisions as needed. Each revision takes 2 business days for us to produce.

6. Shoe or boot last carving begins

Once you have approved the blueprints of your lasts, our last maker will proceed with the physical carving of your lasts, which takes 5 business days.

7. Final design and color confirmation before production starts

As we wait for the carving of your shoe or boot lasts, we will email you one last time to confirm your order's design and color details. Up to this point, any design or color preferences can be changed.

8. Shoemaking process takes 5 months

One of our master shoemakers in Italy will use your personal lasts to begin the crafting of your bespoke shoes or boots. The shoemaking process takes 5 months.

9. Order delivery after delivery address confirmation

Once your order is completed, we'll email you to confirm your delivery address, in case you have moved residences. If you're away on vacation, we can hold your order and ship it at a more convenient time for you. After confirmation, we'll ship your order within the US and Canada using insured, trackable UPS, or via DHL for international destinations. Your tracking number will be emailed to you.

10. Receiving and wearing your bespoke shoes or boots

Once you receive your shoes or boots, please try them on while wearing the same socks you wore during your foot shape acquisition process. We believe you will experience something truly amazing if you have never worn bespoke shoes before. We offer a FIT GUARANTEE™ to make sure that our shoes or boots fit you exactly the way you want.
