For this pair of shoes, the height of the heel can not exceed 26 mm or 1 inch, measured from the back of the heel.

Fit

• First Time Order: from the comfort of your home, step in and out of our Bio-Foam® precision foot molds, engineered and made by Smithers Bio-Medical Systems in Kent, Ohio. Our comprehensive foot shape acquisition process allows us to obtain an exact replica of each individual foot up to 2 inches above the ankle bones, including its volume, dimensions, fitting preferences, and elasticity indexes throughout different areas of your feet to arrive at a proper fitting pair of shoes or boots. Delivered within 2 to 3 business days in the United States and Canada via UPS.
  
• Reorder Using Your Stored Last: we maintain your personal bespoke lasts within our private archive in Italy, to ensure every subsequent pair delivers the same fit as your first.

Sole Construction

• Blake-Stitch: 4 mm thick, single leather sole with a close cut profile. Not water resistant.
• Blake-Rapid: resoleable 8 mm double-leather sole, plus water resistance.
• Goodyear Welt: resoleable 8 mm double-leather sole with a self-sculpting cork footbed that molds to your foot for superior shock absorption and exceptional, long-term durability, plus superior water resistance.

Sole Material

• Italian Pietro Presot Leather: leather tanned by the Pietro Presot family in Porcia, Italy, since 1932. They are known for their flexibility, impermeability and durability.
• Vibram Rubber: sole known for its consistent quality of traction, durability and comfort. Adds an extra 4 mm to the thickness of the sole.

Hermès D’Annonay Box Calf: Sourced from the historic Tanneries D’Annonay founded in 1838, an esteemed member of the Hermès Group, this A-grade full-grain calfskin represents the absolute pinnacle of French leatherwork. Renowned for its remarkable suppleness and enduring structure, our Box Calf develops a distinguished character and a unique patina with every wear.

Italian "Roma" Suede: Our premium 1.4 mm Italian suede is meticulously selected for its luxurious hand-feel and consistent finish. Renowned for its rich texture and durability, the Roma suede provides a soft, breathable fit that conforms beautifully to your unique anatomical lasts.

Based on your foot shape, we design a few custom toe box shapes for you to choose from.

For clients who utilize personal orthotics or specialized insoles, our foot shape acquisition process captures the precise volume and topography of your inserts. This data allows us to engineer the exact internal capacity required for both your feet and your orthotics to ensure a seamless fit within your bespoke footwear.

Furthermore, we meticulously recalibrate the leather pattern around the heel and ankle to accommodate the additional elevation. This anatomical adjustment prevents heel slippage and maintains a secure hold regardless of the insole's thickness.

Your purchase includes the creation of your personal bespoke lasts, carved from your unique anatomical data. These forms serve as the foundation for all future orders and are stored in our archive in Italy for your convenience. As your anatomy matures, your archived bespoke lasts remain a living record of your needs. We offer complimentary anatomical refinements to your lasts with every new order, ensuring your signature Bondeno fit remains constant, even as time passes. Your personal lasts are securely preserved in our Italian archive for all future creations.

Fit Guarantee

Our shoes and boots are handcrafted using your exact foot shape, dimensions, fitting preferences, and elasticity indexes, or we will remake them, free of charge.

Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the enduring integrity of our craft. Every commission is warranted against artisanal defects for a period of 12 months. In the rare event of a structural inconsistency under normal wear, our Italian workshop will prioritize a meticulous repair or a full replacement.
